I wanted to make a planet as part of a logo for my currently non-existent portfolio website (I thought of calling it Solloby's World) so made this nice, shiny planet. It's high res, and at 50% of the full size.
I basically grabbed a map, coloured, spherized, added a small drop shadow and whacked it on the globe which is a circle with a bunch of layer effects. Then I added the white shiny part and yay globe! ------------------------- Note me if you want to use this for something. If it's for education uses eg. the front page of your geography report or as part of a school art project then go ahead and use it, just credit me. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
